Peppermint Bark Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 2 cups Whole Milk

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 1/2 cups Peppermint Bark, chopped Red food

  • Red food coloring, as desired

Instructions

1. Mix Ingredients:
In a large bowl or mixing pitcher, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt until the sugar is fully dissolved. Add in desired amount of red food coloring.

2. Churn:
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually 20–25 minutes), until it reaches a soft-serve consistency. Add chopped Peppermint Bark with 5 minutes left of the churn.

3. Freeze:
Transfer the ice cream to a lidded container. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.

4. Serve:
Scoop and enjoy on its own or with your favorite desserts!
