I’m Caroline Fromm — a daughter of Christ, wife, mama, and passionate home baker. Baking has been a part of my story for as long as I can remember. (Fun fact: my favorite Christmas gift as a little girl was an Easy-Bake Oven — a big deal for a six-year-old with a serious sweet tooth!)
Over the years, my love for baking has only grown. While I tend to be a bit type A in most areas of life, the kitchen is where I let my hair down. It’s my happy place — where I get to be creative, make a mess, and pour love into something sweet.
I truly believe the Lord has given me this passion on purpose. A few years ago, I heard Louie Giglio preach a message about “staying in your lane.” The idea was simple but powerful: we glorify God best when we use the unique gifts He’s given us. That message stuck with me, and this blog is one small way I’m staying in my lane — using the gifts of baking, hospitality, and a love for gathering people around the table.
For me, baking is an expression of love. I show care for the people in my life by creating something special just for them — whether it’s a favorite birthday cake, fresh-baked cookies on a hard day, or simply a slice of pie to say, “I see you.”
I’m also a big believer in balance — and for me, that includes a good, homemade treat every now and then. If I’m going to indulge, I want it to be worth it: made from scratch, with real, quality ingredients, and always shared with someone I love.
My hope is that this blog does three things:
Glorifies the Lord through the gifts He’s given me
Inspires you to bake from scratch with confidence and joy
Encourages you to share something sweet with the people who matter most
